Pirelli, identical choices for 2023
Pirelli has just communicated the choice of compounds that it will make available to the teams for the first of the three triples of the year, the only European one: Catalonia, Austria and Great Britain, which will be held respectively on the weekends of 23 June, 30 June and July 7.
At Montmeló and Silverstone the Milanese company will bring the hardest compounds in the range (C1-C2-C3), while in Austria the choice fell on the softest trio (C3-C4-C5).
This is a choice that follows exactly those made in 2023, also because Barcelona and Silverstone put the tires to the test with their high-speed corners, while the Red Bull Ring has few corners, and it is no coincidence that Austria will have the same ones compounds that we will see this weekend in Canada.
