Peto, Abalá, Cansahcab, Dzilam Bravo and Hoctún are some of the municipalities in Yucatan where incidents have occurred from theft of polling stations, cutting of electricity cables to prevent the counting of votes and lack of vehicles to transport the electoral package to the municipal councils.
Erika Moreno Martínez, advisor at the IEPAC for PRD, announced that in Hoctún after 10 at night, polling station officials are requesting the rental of a car to be able to take the electoral packages to the municipal councils for the count.
This type of incident has made it difficult to achieve progress in the counting of boxes. At the moment, in the quick count, Only 104 boxes of the 350 that make up the sample have been counted.
The advisors of the parties in the IEPAC request that there not be a recess, but that, after a quick count of the boxes, however, it is declared that the session will resume at 11:20 at night.
