The Dubai Government Human Resources Department reviewed its most important current and future projects that it is implementing to enhance the efficiency and performance of the workforce and implement best practices in the government work system.
During an expanded meeting chaired by the Director General of the Department, Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, and in the presence of human resources directors and executive directors from various government agencies in Dubai, the department’s work team highlighted a group of projects that fall within the framework of the department’s keenness to improve the human resource in Dubai. Iman bin Khatam, Executive Director of the Policy and Programs Sector at the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, stressed the commitment to adopting the innovation approach and applying the best global practices to enable the Emirati workforce to adapt to rapid changes and meet the requirements of the future, noting that the department aims, through these ambitious projects, to create an environment Integrated and supportive work that enhances employee productivity and contributes to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and consolidating the leading position of the Emirate of Dubai on the global economic map.
The meeting discussed the projects “Framework for Measuring Workforce Productivity in the Dubai Government,” “Engineering Dubai Government Jobs,” “Empowering Human Resources Departments in Government Entities,” and “The General Framework for Qualifying Government Human Resources – Dubai Center for Future Skills,” given For its role in developing a competitive workforce that possesses the specialized skills necessary to keep pace with future changes, strengthen strategic sectors through digital transformation, and support the national economy.
The discussions included a project to “review the current financial allocations decision” for Dubai government employees, to study the level of competitiveness of compensation and allowances to ensure attracting and retaining distinguished talents.
