Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, ranked third in the world, qualified for the quarter-finals of the French Open tennis tournament “Roland Garros” today.
Alcarraza clinched his qualification after defeating Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in three sets, 6-3, 6-3, 6-1, in a match that lasted only 80 minutes.
The Spanish star advanced to the quarter-finals for the third season in a row to face Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, ranked ninth in the world and runner-up in the Roland Garros edition in 2021.
Tsitsipas rose after defeating Italian Matteo Arnaldi with a score of 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2, 6-2.
Alcaraz is looking forward to winning his third Grand Slam title after winning the US Open in 2022 and Wimbledon last year in 2023.
