Netflix released the Italian trailer of the final season of The Umbrella Academythe television series based on the comic of the same name created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba, which will return with new episodes on August 8th.
After the events of the third season, the brothers seemed to have taken different paths“settling” for the latest timeline they had found, but apparently this situation of relative calm was destined to be interrupted somehow.
In the final season trailer we therefore see the Umbrella Academy find themselves and reunite for a new mission: will its members be able to return home and preserve reality from further attacks?
The various Number One (Tom Hopper), Number Seven (Elliot Page), Number Five (Aidan Gallagher) and Lila (Ritu Arya) will certainly use all their resources to achieve this goal.
From The Umbrella Academy to Horizon
There is no doubt that The Umbrella Academy is one of the most popular Netflix series of recent yearsalthough in terms of the script and ideas the downward phase compared to the beginning is clear, and in particular the third season seemed quite subdued.
However, the show’s high points pushed Sony to hire showrunner Steve Blackman to adapt the Horizon Zero Dawn television series, one of many projects related to PlayStation’s intellectual properties.
It will be very interesting to see where Blackman goes next reduce Aloy’s epic for the small screenafter all, with the series dedicated to The Last of Us, quality standards have been established that are not easy to achieve.
