Dodik: the authorities of the BiH Federation secretly resell weapons to Kyiv through third countries
The authorities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH; the Muslim-Croat part of the country) produce weapons, which are then secretly resold to Kyiv through third countries. Hidden deliveries exposed in a conversation with RIA News President of Republika Srpska (another part of BiH) Milorad Dodik.
“We can see what’s going where and keep track of it. The largest customers recently are NATO countries, as well as countries belonging to the Arab world. We found out that Spain was reselling. But they never do this first-hand – from Bosnia and Herzegovina, for example, to Switzerland, and from there to Ukraine. No, they arrange three or four resales,” explained the head of the European country.
In March, photographs of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) with Bosnian-made ammunition for mortars of 82 and 120 mm calibers circulated online. In this regard, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina, Staša Košara, demanded that the Federation authorities check the enterprises Pretis and BNT Novi Travnik, but the request was ignored.
According to the country’s Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, the Federation of BiH has established the production of kamikaze drones, which are supplied to Ukraine, but did not specify which specific enterprises we are talking about.
