The end of Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina’s time at Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr seems to be a fact. The rumors that speak of a possible return to Atlético Nacional are becoming stronger.
Now, the Arab press takes as a fact the end of Ospina’s contract with Al Nassr. The account @TheNassrZone, specialized in the Arab club, quotes a journalist from that country who assures that the Colombian has already done all the procedures to terminate his contract and that this Sunday he will leave the country.
The same account puts Ospina on a list of players that the club would not keep for next season, which also includes players like Alex Telles and Seko Fofana.

For now, Ospina is getting ready to join the Colombian National Team that will play two friendly matches against the United States, on June 8, and Bolivia, on the 15th of the same month, and aspires to be on the final list for the Copa América, something which is taken for granted considering that Néstor Lorenzo included only three goalkeepers in this call. The other two are Camilo Vargas and Álvaro Montero.
Ospina’s next destination would be Atlético Nacional, with whom he made his professional debut in 2006 and with which he played 99 League games before making the leap to Europe.
In his presentation as a green player, Edwin Cardona hinted that Ospina’s arrival is not far away. “It is motivating to have a legend like David Ospina as a teammate, especially for what he has done in the National Team,” he said.
