Events that occurred in different parts of the city of Tijuana, Baja California left as balance two people dead and three gunshot wounds, during this weekend.
According to the authorities, the first attack occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, in the parking lot of the bar called “Bad life“, located on Javier Mina and Ignacio streets located in the Río Zone, in that place a municipal police officer who was aboard a free white taxi with black letters was injured.
During the attack, the driver of the transport unit was also shot and the unit received more than seven bullets in different areas.
After the attack, witnesses notified the emergency center and minutes later elements of the police arrived at the scene. Municipal police, who in turn requested support from Red Cross paramedics, they were in charge of transferring the injured to a hospital for medical care.
Later, around 12:00 p.m., a security guard was also injured by a gunshot outside a bar on Casa Blanca Boulevard.
Minutes later elements of the National Guard and municipal police officers arrived at the scene, assisting in controlling the traffic flow on the roads while the first responders arrived.
Upon arrival, paramedics from the Red Cross They gave first aid to a young man of around 25 years of age, and then transferred him to a hospital. His condition was considered serious, since he had several gunshot wounds.
Another armed attack occurred on Third Street in the Central Zone, leaving two men dead during the early hours of Sunday, while driving on a sidewalk.
