As we recently reported, Marvel Rivals ended up in the eye of the storm following an absurd revelation: the contract stipulated between the production company and the content creators prevented the latter from speaking badly about the game, “falsifying” to all intents and purposes the initial evaluations on alpha version.
Following the spread of this bitter controversy, NetEase itself intervened and released it a long apology message on his Twitter profile, message which we report below:

“Dear Marvel Rivals players,
Today is day three of the Closed Alpha Test and we are so grateful for all the love and support from the community. We would like to take this opportunity to address the concerns we have encountered regarding the terms of the Content Creation Programs Agreement and, most importantly, we would like to apologize for any unpleasant experiences or concerns caused by the miscommunication of these terms.
The Content Creator program is a small-scale project that aims to help produce incredible content by supporting creators by providing them with more resources. We actively encourage creators to share their honest thoughts, suggestions, and criticisms as they play.
All feedback, positive and negative, ultimately helps us create the best experience for ourselves and players.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion, suspicion and frustration caused by these overly restrictive terms, and thank you for sharing them with us.
We value and appreciate every suggestion our players provide and always respect your feedback.
We are currently working with creators who have expressed these concerns and are revising the current version of the agreement to make it less restrictive and more creator-friendly.
Thank you for the support we are sure you will show as we make these changes.”
Marvel Rivals is the new Marvel-themed online FPS that “rivals” Overwatch 2: its release date has not yet been revealed.
