As we anticipated a few days ago during yesterday’s event, Let Loose, Apple presented the new one Pencil named Apple Pencil Pro.
Compared to previous versions, this time we have some interesting innovations, one of which is certainly the gesture “squeeze”; in fact, by squeezing the pen, it will be possible to carry out some activities such as making a menu appear with specific functions, we will be able to quickly change the tool in use, make the stroke more or less heavy and change the color in use.
Additionally, a new gyroscope has been implemented that will allow users to tilt Apple Pencil Pro for optimal control of the nib and brush tools.
Equipped with a new haptic engine, the new Apple Pencil Pro will physically report user interactions; with a short vibration it will respond to the user who squeezes it, uses a double tap or switches to an intelligent shape.
Also, for the first time we have support for Whereso users do not risk losing the precious pen and will be able to find it quickly and easily.
Apple Pencil Pro it can only be used and loaded with new models iPad Pro and iPad Air, to which it can also be attached thanks to the new magnetic interface. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with the models iPad older.
The price of Apple Pencil Pro will remain the same as the second generation, i.e €149.99 and can already be pre-ordered on the official store, with shipments starting from May 15th.
