Accused by his ex, 21-year-old Cristopher Precopia risked a 99-year prison sentence: his mother saved him thanks to a selfie
A 21-year-old boy from Texas had a really bad time, Christopher Precopia, who risked being sentenced to 99 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. After nine months in prison he fortunately got justice, but only thanks to a brilliant idea from his mother, who literally got him out of trouble.
A story that has become viral on the web all over the world is the one that happened to a young man from Texas just 21 years old named Cristopher Precopia. The American police had arrested him on a very serious charge that could have led to a prison sentence of 99 years in prison.
The crime he was charged with was that of burglary of a house with the intent to commit other crimes and it was reported by one of his Ex Girlfriend from my high school days. The alleged attacker, according to the young woman, after breaking into her house had attacked her with a cutter and had caused an “X” shaped incision on her chest.
Shocked by what happened, also because he was convinced of his innocence, Cristopher initially could not do anything other than rely on a lawyer and pay, with the help of his parents, a fee bail of 150 thousand dollars.
The turning point came thanks to a brilliant idea by Erin, the mom of Cristopher, which came to mind when she learned the date and time the girl claimed to have been attacked, September 20, 2017 at approximately 7.30 pm.
The woman remembered that at that very moment she was in a hotel in Austin with her son and that she had taken a photo photo of group. Photos that he then also published on Facebook tagging its location.
That was it irrefutable proof that Cristopher, precisely in the minutes in which his ex claimed to have been liked, it was 65 miles away. After 9 months in prison, the 21-year-old was able to return to his previous life, in total freedom.
