Drastic sanction to Junior players for the controversial match against Millonarios

After the ambassador team's first goal, when the Junior players protested the previous scoring action for an unpaid infraction, the Barranquilla eleventh players made the decision not to want to play in front of their rivals.

This action of not wanting to play was too controversial within the role, to the point that the Dimayor Disciplinary Committee resolved what happened, and determined punishment for several players who did not intend to continue with the game.

This is how the highest entity of Colombian football pointed out to the players: Carlos Bacca, Didier Moreno, Víctor Cantillo and Gabriel Fuentes, who were fined 1,300,000 pesos for violating article 68 of the competition committee.

“Players who surround the referee collectively to protest his decisions will be fined one (1) legal monthly minimum wage in force at the time of the infraction,” the resolution says.

This sanction will only be financial, which means that the players will be present on the last date against Deportivo Cali, where the Barranquilla team is obliged to win to qualify for the home runs.
