Military police officers Paulo Roberto da Silva, Pedro Victor da Silva Pena and Gabriel Julião Florido were acquitted by the death of young Eduardo Felipe Santos Victor, in 2015. The boy, aged 17 at the time, was shot at in Ladeira do Barroso, in Morro da Providência, in the central region of Rio. The three were charged by the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro with murder.
As for procedural fraud, because they were accused of altering the crime scene, judge Daniel Cotta, from the Sentencing Council of the 2nd Jury Court of the Capital, decided this Wednesday (24) that the process will be suspended for two years. During this period, defendants will have to comply with certain measures, such as appearing in court every two months. After this period, the action will be terminated.
Defendant Eder Siqueira, accused of procedural fraud, also had the case suspended as long as he appeared before the judicial registry for two years, which has already been completed. Riquelmo de Paula Geraldo died.

At the time of the crime, in September 2015, a video posted on social media showed military police officers from the Pacification Police Unit (UPP) of Morro da Providência around the young Eduardo Victor, who was lying on the ground, in the middle of a puddle. of blood.
