New colors in Miami, not just at Ferrari
After the fourth victory achieved in the first five races of this season, Max Verstappen prepares for the next one Miami Grand Prix, scheduled on a street circuit that has always seen him reach the top step of the podium in the only two previous editions. The three-time world champion will present himself in Florida with an aesthetic novelty, as will Ferrari, which has also announced the partnership with HP as title sponsor of the Maranello Scuderia.
A helmet only for GPs in the USA
In the case of Verstappen, the Red Bull driver will take to the track with a special helmet, which it will also reuse in the other two events scheduled in the United States. After the debut in Miami, the same livery will also be present at Austinfor the US GP, ea Las Vegas. The reigning world champion presented his helmet on his social channels and YouTube, commenting on his choice as follows:
“This helmet is for racing in the United States – has explained – I wanted to do something completely different. In recent years we have tended to propose a new design for each GP weekend. Now I thought it would be cool to race the same colors for all three US GPs. In the three races in America the fans stand out to me. They are extremely passionate and love racing in general, well beyond Formula 1. We try to give them the best show possible, and I feel they appreciate that. We race on unique tracks and in exciting locations, such as Miami and Las Vegas, or the challenging Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. This country is very large: Miami is completely different from Austin, and Las Vegas is unrivaled. I think it's great to experience different facets of a country. I like this blue color, it looks very fresh. I positioned the US flag on the back of the helmetwhich is a nice detail – he concluded – I think we came up with a pretty cool design. We had some great times in Austin, Miami and Las Vegas, and I'm excited to continue our story in the United States with this helmet.”
