These productions, focused on controversial topics, attracted greater attention from the public, so 'Vaguito' was relegated to the background in viewers' preferences.

'Vaguito' saw a notable increase in attendance during its first weekend, reaching nearly 40,000 spectators by the end of the weekend. Of this amount, almost half was concentrated on Sunday, according to reports from various sources.
Currently, numerous movie theaters showing the film, known as the 'Peruvian Hachiko', they are experiencing full houses. This includes several Cineplanet branches, located in places such as Mall del Sur, San Juan de Lurigancho, Trujillo and Arequipa.
