For a few days now, a very curious debate has arisen around the film Robot dreams, the one in which a Dog and a Robot become friends until a certain situation has separated them, which leads us to the abandonment of the metal being by the canine, and that has made the users angry. As a result, there was a cancellation of the character on social networks, mentioning that there are people of this type in real life, those who give up at the slightest provocation and leave their loved ones to their fate.
This cancellation has reached the ears of the director of the animated film, Pablo Berger, who has mentioned to the media that with the attitudes of Dog and Robot he wanted to generate some debate among people, and to verify if at some point they were in the situation of the characters. Inviting that instead of starting revolts against the canine, they put themselves in his place and embrace him as something that has happened to them at some point in their lives, forgiving him in some way for the events.
Here is his comment:
And I think that these types of reactions are natural because people feel identified, we have all known or been Dog and Robot at some point.
It is worth mentioning that many users have considered this film as one of the best of the year, suggesting that it could even have beaten The Boy and the Heron if it had been a well-known study, but since these are new people in the business, the result was obvious. For its part, Mexico has been thanked for the reception, since the people of this region have talked a lot about it online and have attended movie theaters to see it and enjoy it in different sentimental ways.
For now, the film is not streaming, but it is in some selected movie theaters.

Author's note: Although you do understand the point of the movie, it is very obvious that people were going to be angry with the dog, since he only tries to save the robot twice, and then abandons it and even gets another model, which is very sad.
