Craig Breen died just over a year ago, but in Hyundai Motorsport – and, more generally, in the WRC Service Park – his memory is still alive.
The Alzenau team had already made it known that, among the various initiatives conceived and implemented, they would also study a special color scheme for the fourth round of the World Rally Championship and so it was.
In the last few hours, the first photos of the three Hyundai i20 N Rally1 have been released which this weekend will be entrusted to the crews of Thierry Neuville – Martijn Wydaeghe, Ott Tanak – Martin Jarveoja, Andreas Mikkelsen – Torstein Eriksen. All three were already dressed in the new color.

The team had announced color changes to both the bumpers and the roof. In reality, the new livery has one small significant change compared to the initial design.
It wasn't the bumpers that were coloured, but the noses of the cars. The Irish tricolor stands above it. The same goes for the roof, where the flag of the nation that gave birth to Breen is clearly visible, especially when looking at the cars from the rear.

Next to the logo located on the rear bumper you can see the writing “ForCraig”, i.e. “For Craig”, which had become a real hashtag during the past season after the death of the Slieverue native driver.
Hyundai didn't stop at a livery to commemorate Breen. An auction opened yesterday to raise funds for the Craig Breen Foundation, a foundation created to help young drivers continue their careers.

Hyundai has made Neuville and Tanak's helmets available, as well as two Dani Sordo suits from last season. The auction started at 9:00 am Italian time yesterday and will end at 9:00 pm Italian time on April 23rd.
