The 2024 season of the FIA World Endurance Championship arrives in Imola for the 6 Hours which represents the second stage after the opening held just over a month ago in Qatar.
It goes without saying that there is great anticipation for what is the home event of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Isotta Fraschini among the Hypercars, but also of other great protagonists in the LMGT3 Class starting with Valentino Rossi, who returns to the Santerno circuit after the first outing in GT3 took place in 2022.
But among the 37 cars entered there will be no lack of spectacle and battle, with the spotlight focused primarily on the Porsches, which dominated the scene in Lusail, while a redemption is expected from the reigning Toyota champions, with great anticipation also for the brand new Peugeot 9X8.
And certainly the LMDh entered by Alpine, BMW and Cadillac will also want to be part of the match in the Hypercar Class, with curiosity as to what the values on the field will be compared to the highly reshuffled Balance Of Performance issued by the FIA and ACO.
Speaking of Rossi, in the LMGT3 Class also keep an eye on the Porsche, fresh from success in Qatar, and the Aston Martins who completed the podium in the Middle East, with Ford Mustang, Corvette, Ferrari, Lexus, Lamborghini and McLaren ready to have their say.
