The authors of the discovery were two users of the CV64&CVLoDSpeedruns Discord channel: Moises and Liquid Cat. The first discovered the code by examining the game files. The second put it into practice by showing how it works.

The code, which must be inserted into the main screen of the game, is as follows: C-Up x4, C-Down x4, C-Left x2, C-Right x2, C-Left by 2, C-Right x2, L, R, Z. Of course it refers to the controller of the Nintendo 64.
