In the post-race interviews the eight-time world champion appeared calm because it was a fall 'the result' of a clear problem he had with the front brake throughout the race. Marquez preferred to focus on the glass half full, that is, which fell when he was leader of the race and after having made a good step forward in terms of performance over the weekend together with the Gresini team. “My crew chief and I are starting to get to know each other, the data is there, but in the end the pilot's word is what matters most. We are growing, we will see if the positive trend continues in Jerez too”explained Marquez.
