“What did he do before he died” Ashlee loses her life at just 38 years old: the last gesture before the tragedy is heroic

Ashlee is the 38-year-old woman who saved her 8-month-old daughter before she bled to death in the Sydney bombing.

The citizens of Sydney are still in shock following the massacre that took place last Saturday at Westfield Bondi Junction, in which six people died and twelve others were injured. Ashlee Good she is the young Australian mother who lost her life while trying to save her nine-month-old daughter from Joel Cauchi's madness.

According to witnesses present at the scene, the woman was stabbed together with her baby while she was in the shopping centre. Despite her serious injuries, Ashlee picked up her daughter and, running through the corridors of her center, handed her over to two passers-by, begging them to keep her safe. There was nothing that could be done for the woman and she lost her life on the spot. The little girl was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney and underwent emergency surgery.

There family of the 38-year-old released a statement to the Australian media to thank the medical staff who treated the little girl and the New South Wales police for their kindness and attention. They also expressed their gratitude to the two bystanders who held and cared for the little girl when Ashlee could no longer do so.

In addition to Ashlee Good, those killed in the massacre also included Dawn Singletonmember of the family of the well-known advertising guru John Singleton, and Jade Younga member of the Bronte Surf Life Saving Club. Faraz Tahira Pakistani citizen who worked as a security guard at the shopping mall, is the only man among the victims of Cauchi.

The authorities are investigating the incident, but it will take some time before the identities of all those involved are made known. Many of them have no relatives in Australia and police are trying to contact their family members overseas. The Sydney community rallies around the families of the unfortunate patrons of the shopping center on that unfortunate Saturday afternoon. At the moment we are trying to shed light on what the media defines as one of the worse attacks in the history of the city.
