Good and bad news regarding the batteries of the next iPhones: iPhone 16 Pro Max should represent the pinnacle of charging, but there will be reductions for Plus.
The next iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will be revealed next September and most of their features are already known.
Innovations, such as larger screen sizes, will be accompanied by details that will feature significant improvements in design, and Apple is also rumored to be working on an internal rearrangement to accommodate higher capacity batteries.
The information, disseminated via the Chinese social network Weibo and coming from the leaker OvO Baby Sauce OvO, however, reveals that the Plus model it will not undergo improvements compared to the previous generation.
It must be said that iPhone 16 Plus will be the only one in the range to present a reduction in battery capacity compared to the standard and “Pro” models.
Furthermore, it is worth pointing out that, although the leaker in question does not boast a score that elevates him in terms of credibility, these rumors coincide with the recent information disclosed by Majin Buu, a rather punctual informant.
Unexplained reduction
As confirmed by a recent leak from Bu, both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will show an improvement in battery capacity.
Rather unusually, the Plus model, traditionally known for having a larger battery, will see a reduction.
It would certainly be a surprise, considering for example that the iPhone 15 Plus boasted the best autonomy among all iPhones, and that the next model is expected to have a capacity of around 10% lower.
This year Apple seems to want to transfer this primacy to its next iPhone 16 Pro Max.
In addition to the battery innovations, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro will feature larger screens, 6.3 and 6.9 inches respectively in the Pro models, improvements in the cameras, a new vertical arrangement of the lenses, new processors, exclusive intelligence features artificial.
