Salis case: Meloni, 'do you know' Rule of law?
“Do you know rule of law? Do you know autonomy of the judiciary?”. Giorgia Meloni uses this rhetorical figure, in the TV lounge of Porta a Porta broadcast this evening on Rai Uno, to signal her doubts about the political-media management of the Salis case. “It doesn't seem to me that the issue of the independence of the judiciary is present in the debate: there are Italian parliamentarians who ask the government to intervene in the Hungarian government”, the Prime Minister then noted.

“The political campaign that the left is mounting on Ilaria Salis risks not helping her”, says Giorgia Meloni. “Maybe we should lower the tension a little”, adds the Prime Minister, still recording this evening's episode of Porta a Porta. “You have to work in silence, because – she warns – if you insult your interlocutor, it is difficult to get anything from him”.
Meloni, I don't know Salvini's home-saving rule
“Salvini mentioned something to me some time ago, then I saw that today he reiterated that he is working on this rule but I don't know it, I'm not able to express an opinion. I read the statement from the Ministry of Transport which talks about fixing small internal discrepancies, that is, if you raised a partition to make two rooms where there was one.
