At the moment, the engine of research it's a kind of magical toolbox that offers us everything for free. But, as reported by The Financial Times, Google is seriously thinking about introducing a fee for access to those special features that give an edge to our searches, thanks to AI.
Imagine yourself searching “Pizza in the center of Porto Viru“, and bam! With AI capabilities, Google could give you a super detailed overview, almost as if you already had the smell of pizza under your nose. And it doesn't end here: there would also be a function that helps you navigate web pages better, highlighting key points and offering you links quick to move directly to the section that interests you.
But now comes the best part: to enjoy these technological goodies, we might have to reach into our wallets. The good news? The basic search engine of Google will remain free, so you can still do all the research you want without spending a penny.
