Maximum Games announced a collaboration with Paramount Consumer Products to bring to life a Competitive multiplayer fighting game based on the universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The game will be available in early access in early 2025. For the moment, no further details have been shared, including the official title and the reference platforms, nor has a trailer or any promotional material been presented, with the promise that more information will be revealed in the near future.
What is Avatar: The Last Airbender?
Avatar: The Last Airbender is a highly successful animated series that aired on Nickelodeon between February 2005 and July 2008, while in Italy it has been broadcast since December 2008 with the title Avatar: The Legend of Aang.
The series is set in a fictional world inspired by the East, in which the population is divided into four nations corresponding to the elements water, earth, fire and air. The protagonist of the story is twelve-year-old Aang, an Avatar who has the task of putting an end to the hostilities between the four countries, which have been at war for a century, thanks to his ability to master all four elements, and his friends Katara, Sokka and Toph, who accompany him on his adventures.
A live action series titled in the same way, Avatar: The Legend of Aang, will debut on Netflix on February 22nd.
