As widely expected, during the monographic State of Play dedicated to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth the launch of the has been announced demo official on PlayStation Storeto the delight of all those who want to try it in advance before purchasing it or who, more simply, want to have a taste of this highly anticipated title.
The demo includes the flashback of Nibelheim. A section dedicated to Junon will also be added before launch. The PlayStation Store also explains:
■Players with save data from the demo will be able to obtain the moogle lucky charm and a set of adventure items in the full game.
・Moogle Lucky Charm: An accessory that increases the amount of resources mined at a set rate.
・Survival Set: A selection of items useful for the adventure, such as potions and ether.
■Players who complete the Nibelheim episode will be able to skip that section in the full game.

A highly anticipated game
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second chapter of the remake project of Final Fantasy VII, a pillar of the renowned Square Enix series. The plot kicks off immediately after the events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, continuing with the spectacular escape from Midgar and leading up to one of the most iconic moments of the original.
The long-awaited Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be available as a timed exclusive for PS5 starting February 29, 2024. The first reviews of the game will be released early, on February 22, a move that underlines the publisher's confidence in the quality of the title.
Once the exclusivity period, expected to last three months, is over, the game is expected to be announced for other platforms, following the same path as the first episode which was subsequently launched on PC.
