Vodafone, today, revealed through the “Vodafone Informa” page of its official website, theintroduction of new unilateral remodulations for some fixed line contracts.
Although Vodafone has not yet specified the exact offers subject to remodulation, it is clear that the changes will result in an increase in monthly rates, with an increase that will be between 2 and 3 additional euros per month. Vodafone motivates these increases as necessary to “continue investing in the network and respond effectively to new traffic needs”. Naturally customers whose contract will be subject to unilateral renegotiation they will have the possibility not to accept the remodulation and therefore to withdraw from the contract without additional costs. The only condition is that the cancellation is communicated within 60 days from receipt of Vodafone's communication.
According to the operator, customers who see their rates increase will receive a communication included in the invoice with the minimum withdrawal period of 60 days. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, Vodafone customers can act through various channels: the official Vodafone website, the operator's physical stores, sending a registered letter with return receipt to the Vodafone Customer Service address, sending a PEC to the customerservice address@ vodafone.pec.it, or by calling 190always specifying the reason for withdrawal.
