Born in Soncinoin the province of Brescia, on 10 September 1935, after a childhood as a “partisan” (as told by himself), Giacomo Losi began playing football in his city's team, the Soncinese, where he was “paid with bread and salami”. Subsequently, in 1952, he moved on to Cremonesewhere in two seasons he contributed to the promotion to Serie C.
But Losi's true love story began in 1954, when he arrived in the capital to play for the club. Rome.
