Rape in Catania, Salvini relaunches: “No clemency, just a cure: chemical castration”. Here's what it is
On social media the leader of the League was clear: “Girl raped by a gang of seven Egyptians in front of her boyfriend, threatened, blocked and kept away. Don't come and talk to me about 'tolerance' or 'error'. In the face of such horrors there can be no mercy but only one cure: chemical castration. I hope that the proposal presented by the League will be voted on as soon as possible.”

The minister is referring to the episode of rape suffered by a thirteen-year-old girl after her boyfriend was beaten and forced to witness, together with other members of the group, the rape of his girlfriend in the public toilets of a famous park in Catania , Villa Bellini at 7.30pm, therefore a very normal time. The victim says: “First they started touching me, I told them to leave me alone, even my boyfriend who is 17 years old told him I don't know how many times. Then we tried to move away, but they grabbed us”. And again: “They grabbed me and forced my boyfriend to watch.”
A very serious episode which shows how the level of aggression has now become intolerable and is causing enormous social alarm among the population and especially among women. And often these are groups of desperate immigrants, as happened in the Sicilian case. People who have nothing to lose but maybe they could lose something in the future, if the law proposed by the League was finally approved. In centuries that were less tolerant and poorly illuminated by the torch of the Enlightenment, the punishment for these crimes would have been very different and the criminals would have lost not only the desire but the very instrument to carry them out. Now times (unfortunately) have changed but the measure is full. And so We welcome the proposal of the League which has been fighting for years for the chemical castration of criminals, but the glittering shields of ideology have already been raised to protect the criminals, as usual.
Left-wing priestesses have ruled that chemical castration would be of no use because the problem would be “environmental” and not biological, that is, it is the ugly and bad environment that generates the criminal and therefore we must act, according to these high prophets of a low cult, on school, on training, on dialogue, on conviction. And meanwhile women continue to be raped and ultimately men too because for certain “cultures”, as we know, it doesn't make much difference. There chemical castration it is not a definitive and irreversible measure but is time-based. The drugs lower the libido of particularly fiery subjects by acting on testosterone, the main hormone of these aggressive manifestations.
In the USA, Russia, Poland, Israel, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Portugal, chemical castration is used as part of a rehabilitation program alternative to imprisonment which the subject can freely choose. Moreover, chemical castration is used as a preliminary to the process of transsexual transformation from man to woman, in the process of feminization. So no violence for the condemned and no evocation of guillotines and similar devices but only a loss of libido, albeit transitory, once the sentence has been served. Being the measure, as mentioned, absolutely voluntary, it's not about philosophical questions, it's not about biopolitics, often cited inappropriately, it's about intervening on a particularly heinous crime sometimes also linked to femicides, which is talked about so much. Why not experiment?
