In March 2021, Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan opened its doors. Two years later, in February 2023, Super Nintendo World arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood. Now, today, it has been confirmed that this amusement park starring Mario and company, will be part of Universal Epic Universe, the next big project from the company behind the Minions.
Through a trailer, it has been confirmed that Universal Epic Universe will open its doors in the summer of 2025. Along with Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay, this will be the fourth theme park at Universal Orlando, and it has been confirmed that Super Nintendo World will be part of the five initial attractions of this new location. This is what Molly Murphy, Creative President of Universal, commented on the matter:
“We will have Super Nintendo World, where you can jump into the action and enter the world of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong.
You will arrive at the most interactive and colorful world we have ever created.”
Moments later, the official Nintendo of America Twitter account shared a series of images that give us the opportunity to see a little of this theme park, and the structure it will have, which appears to be different from what we found at Universal Studios Japan. and Hollywood, since the Donkey Kong section would already be included from day one.
Along with Super Nintendo World, Universal Epic Universe will feature sections themed to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, Celestial Park and Dark Universe. Thus, This will become one of the most attractive amusement parks for the general public.

This is not the last park, since A Super Nintendo World is also under construction at Universal Singapore, of which it is still unknown when it will open its doors. Along with this, the possibility of seeing more locations throughout the world in the future is not ruled out.
