The MotoGP World Championship continues its presentation period for the 2024 season. After four teams have already unveiled their new bikes, namely the official Ducati team, Gresini, Pertamina VR46 and Trackhouse, it is now time to get to know the fifth on the next starting grid: the GasGas Tech3.
This Monday, January 29, 2024, the RC16 will be presented, which will be brought to the track by the KTM satellite team, with Pedro Acosta making his long-awaited debut in the premier class, and Augusto Fernandez, in his second year with the team. The online event will start when it is 11:30 in Italy and you can follow it directly on this page.
Many eyes will be on the GasGas Tech3, and not only at the presentation, but throughout the 2024 season. The arrival of Pedro Acosta in the premier class, after having been champion of Moto3 in 2021, on his debut, and of Moto2 in 2023, it's an event and many can't wait to see what the “Shark of Mazarrón” will be able to do on a MotoGP bike.
At his side will be Augusto Fernandez, after having regained his place in the team. The Spaniard was the only rookie in the premier class last year, but he managed to shine, especially with great performances on Sunday. KTM therefore decided to guarantee him his place for 2024, causing the departure of Pol Espargaró, who had to take a “step back” and who will be a test rider for the Mattighofen company this season.
In terms of livery, the truth is that not many changes are expected on the new GasGas, which should confirm a color scheme similar to that seen in 2023.
