Fernando Barcenilla, Commercial Head of Travel for the company, comments: “It is very good news for the tourism sector that the majority of Spaniards intend to travel on these important dates. However, we have to be very aware of how important It is insured travel, in any situation. Travel insurance covers health care, medical expenses, admission to a hospital and the transportation of a family member to the destination, if necessary. We have seen many cases of appendicitis, gastroenteritis or sprains. ankle in foreign countries whose Treatment involves paying amounts that triple the cost of the same care in Spain. The insurance covers expenses for this type of unforeseen event so that travelers do not have to worry about anything, just enjoying that time of leisure and rest. “Of course, if we have to save on anything during our vacation, it shouldn’t be travel insurance.”
