The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has announced the transformation of the services for providing exemptions from housing loans to be fully digital, to be approved within six minutes of submission.
The authority clarified that since the service was completely converted to proactive application within two working days, the total number of proactive requests for the retirement and death exemption services reached 484 requests, of which 457 requests were processed within 6 minutes, representing 93% of the total number of requests, and 36 requests that required human intervention with a percentage of 7% of the total number of requests.
The authority indicated that the possibility of applying for exemption services includes death exemption service, retirement exemption, and inability to earn exemption, and specified special requirements for approving the service within six minutes that the applicant must be a person with limited income for both the retirement exemption service and the inability to earn exemption service, depending on the link With the Ministry of Finance, the Department of Finance, the Pensions and Retirement Benefits Fund, and an additional requirement to request a retirement exemption stating the receipt of a pension salary only for the applicant through the above linkages and those with limited income, and an additional requirement to request a death exemption by providing a death certificate from the Health Department or a death statement from the Authority Federal Identity and Nationality. In order to submit a request for exemption from the inability to earn or pay, the medical committee must provide proof through the available link with the Ministry of Community Development.
As for the general requirements, the lack of commercial licenses or commercial, industrial or investment properties, and the approval of individual requests only, as the joint requests were excluded, and their percentage is about 5% of the requests, and it is also required that there be no arrears, that the percentage of construction completion be 100%, and water delivery is available and electricity.
The request is submitted in four steps, namely, registering the request from the registration channels on the website, and later fetching and checking the data through the system, automatic approval from the system and sending the bank to stop the deduction within two working days, and informing the customer of the approval.
Proactively transfer orders
The authority indicated that it is working on the initiative to automatically fetch data and transfer requests proactively to the customer’s requirements at the moment of creating the housing request, with the aim of facilitating the customers’ experience and saving time and effort on them. And to enhance the satisfaction and happiness of customers, by reviewing applications when completing the data only, as the completion of the data will be requested at the time of submitting the application, and improving the time for implementing the applications.
