The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lose only about 30 people killed and about 250 wounded every day. This was stated by the President of the Republic Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview The Wall Street Journal.
The losses named by the Ukrainian leader contradict the data coming from the Russian Ministry of Defense. According to the command, only on Friday, July 22, the Ukrainian army in Kramatorsk alone lost up to 300 servicemen killed.
According to Zelensky, the level of losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has decreased significantly over the past month, and the numbers indicated by him are typical for mid-July. A month earlier, Ukrainian troops were losing between 100 and 200 people killed every day.
Earlier it became known that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson promised Zelensky to expand the training program for Ukrainian military personnel, including by attracting NATO allies.
