And the bearings of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan dominated the first five places in the race, where the “arrow” bearing took second place, while “Hasheem” came third, and in fourth place “earthquake” and fifth “immigrant”.
The loader “Al-Tabar” by Rashid Mohammed Rashid bin Ghadeer ranked sixth in the race, and in the seventh place came “Al-Ezz” by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, eighth “Rajam” by Ahmed Tarish Ateeq Al Qubaisi, and ninth “Naughty” by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the tenth of the centers went to “Nezaa” of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The race, with a total prize money of 3 million dirhams, witnessed the participation of 102 sailing loaders from different emirates of the country, which reflects the importance of the event held within the Maritime Commodities Festival. and the third for 150 thousand dirhams, while the financial prizes for the centers, from the fourth to the tenth, were distributed between 115 and 72 thousand dirhams.
The winners of the first three places were crowned by Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Cultural and Heritage Festivals and Programs Committee in Abu Dhabi, and Ahmed Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
For his part, Ahmed Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club and Managing Director, thanked His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra region, for his generous patronage of the race and the various events and races organized by the club, which had a great impact on The development and prosperity of marine and heritage sports in the country.
Al Rumaithi praised the level of the race and the performance of all the participants, congratulating Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan for winning the first places in the race and for his strong performance throughout the entire race.
He also praised the commitment of all participants to the precautionary measures to achieve safety for all, in addition to the standard and technical conditions and specifications for the participating bearings, which provided a fair competition among all, stressing that the Maritime Commodities Festival is one of the important festivals that contribute to the development of heritage marine sports in the country.
