The official website of the film Yuri!!! on Ice: Ice Adolescence officially announced today that production of the film has been cancelled. The production and study committee MAP they explained that the staff decided on the cancellation after a series of internal discussions due to “various circumstances”.
The film was announced for the first time in April 2017. The original animated series aired a year earlier, in October 2016. The feature film was originally scheduled for 2019, but was postponed to a later date to expand the contents originally foreseen, up to total cancellation due to unspecified reasons.
