Abu Dhabi International Book Center witnessed a large turnout from children, and what is striking about this edition is that children sign their books in publishing houses in the presence of large numbers of children, where they discuss their publications, sign books with them, and take pictures with them. Among the young creators is Mohammed Khaled Al Hammadi, who is 11 years old. He launched his first book at the Abu Dhabi Book Fair, entitled Speed, which is published by Shams Publishing House, and is considered an enjoyable comic book. He confirmed to Al-Ittihad that he hopes to write exciting and enjoyable stories for children. His generation, and that he aims with his book to spread excitement and laughter among readers, and to teach his peers how to ask experts when needed.
As for Aisha and Fatima Hamad Al Muhairi (twins), who are 11 years old, they published a joint book entitled “The Joy of Eid,” in which they embark on their journey to another planet, teaching its inhabitants how to enjoy the Eid in the simplest details, and how to make bites on the planet of joy.
The two children, Remas and Juri Al Shehhi, signed the book “A Journey to Space,” in which they presented distinctive content through an enjoyable journey undertaken by four sisters in the planets, each of whom has her own profession through which she helps build other planets. Remas and Juri are seeking to launch a new book in the Chinese language.
