The Chinese brand Xpeng introduces a new model to its European range: the Electric coupe SUV Xpeng G6. Equipped with the SEPA 2.0 platform with 800 V architecture, offers advanced technology, ample space, high comfort and complete standard equipment. The G6 supports ultra-fast charging until 280 kW and will be available with batteries from 66 and 87.5 kWhwith a maximum WLTP range of 570 km.
Xpeng G6, dimensions, what the Chinese electric SUV is like
Xpeng G6 is an electric SUV coupe 4.75 meters long, 1.92 meters wide, 1.65 meters tallwith a wheelbase of 2.89 metres which guarantees ample internal space and comfort for taller passengers. The trunk offers 571 litres of capacity, expandable to 1,374 liters with the rear seats folded.
The design of the Xpeng G6 is characterized by simple lines, with a clean front area dominated by a glossy black insert that houses the thin LED headlights and the Xpeng logo in the center. The main light clusters and air intakes are on the sides of the bumpers. The rear is dynamic, with one spoilershorizontal headlights and the manufacturer’s name clearly visible on the tailgate.
The muscular silhouette, with a line of high waistband, connects with the headlights and front wheel arches. From the side, the large ones stand out 20″ rimswith Michelin tyres.
Cockpit, what the interior of the Xpeng G6 looks like
The cabin of the Xpeng G6 uses high-quality materials, with finishes already popular in models P7 And G9. The infotainment system is based on the latest version of the operating system Xmart OS by XPENGwith all the comfort and driving assistance functions XPILOT as standard.
A 10.2-inch display provides key driving information, while a central touchscreen gives 14.96 inches high resolution controls other features, including via voice commands that can be activated with “Hey XPENG”. Operating system updates happen automatically over the air.
Among the standard features in the passenger compartment are the panoramic roof in glass, multi-adjustable and heated eco-leather seats, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, 4 USB ports, two 50W induction charging points960W audio system with 18 speakers, and an extensive library of entertainment apps.
Xpeng G6 Chinese 800V Electric SUV
Xpeng G6 is based on the innovative platform EV SEPA 2.0light and resistant, with 800V architecture which allows ultra-fast charging up to 280 kW, bringing the battery from 10 to 80% in about 20 minutes. It will be available with two battery packs: one 66 kWh LFP with a WLTP range of 435 km and a 87.5 kWh NCM with a WLTP range of up to 570 km.
A heat pump efficient improves electrical performance in winter and maximizes autonomy. You can also use the Xpeng G6 to power other devices thanks to the system V2L (Vehicle to Load).
Standard and Long Range versions with more performance
The G6 coupe SUV has rear-wheel Drive as standard, with the possibility of four-wheel drive combined with the most capable battery. The three available configurations, all with a maximum speed of 200 km/h, are:
- RWD Standard Range: 190 kW (258 HP), 440 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds
- RWD Long Range: 210 kW (286 HP), 440 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds
- AWD Performance: 350 kW (476 HP), 660 Nm, 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds
The RWD Standard Range version can charge up to 215 kWwhile the RWD Long Range and AWD Performance versions can use systems from 280 kW. Charging at a public or private station is possible with 11 kW (three-phase).
Price, how much does the Chinese electric SUV Xpeng G6 cost
The starting price of the Chinese electric SUV Xpeng G6 for Italy is 42,700 euros. By the end of 2024 it will be available for sale in Italian dealerships.
