Xbox Series X | S: Nvidia GeForce Now is coming soon thanks to Microsoft Edge

Xbox Series X | S will soon be able to welcome the service Nvidia GeForce Now, as the company plans to unlock the use of cloud gaming through Microsoft Edge Chromium, the new version of the internet browser inside the consoles.

The information came recently through Nvidia with the announcement of the new server and new plan for the streaming game announced during the week, which brings the level of performance on a par with the RTX 3080 through the opening of a new subscription tier.

With the new organization, Nvidia has introduced a new type of subscription which allows you to play over a thousand games with technical characteristics up to 1440p and 120 fps, through the introduction of the new subscription from 99.99 euros every 6 months. But beyond that, with the general update there is also some very interesting news for Xbox Series X | S users.

In fact, a GeForce Now update is coming that will allow you to use Nvidia technology through Microsoft Edge, something that was not fully possible previously. Through this system update, Xbox Series X | S users should be able to use GeForce Now directly from the console, considering that this runs a full version of the browser, similar to what already happens with Google Stadia.

In this way, Microsoft consoles would gain additional access to a new catalog of PC games in continuous expansion, as we have also seen in the recent update that introduced New World and other titles, as well as special situations such as the opening of apparently absurd possibilities such as God of War on Xbox, soon.
