The parties disagreed, for example, on the size of the pay rises.
Port Operators Association and the Automobile and Transport Workers’ Union (ACP) have reached an agreement on a new collective agreement for the stevedoring industry, the ACP said on Wednesday night.
According to the ACP, the content of the agreement will be announced once the administrations of the federations have discussed the outcome of the negotiations.
The new collective agreement would be valid until the end of January next year.
The ban on overtime and shift work in the stevedoring sector will end immediately and the threat of a strike will recede, AKT says.
AKT in the second week, he warned of a strike beginning on February 14, unless a new collective agreement could be agreed before. The parties disagreed, for example, on the size of the pay rises.
The collective bargaining agreement in the stevedoring industry was interrupted from the end of January.
