Ciudad Juarez.- A woman and her young son suffered minor injuries after the van they were traveling in fell into a containment dike located on Usumacintas and Teotihuacanos streets in the Azteca neighborhood, reported operational personnel from the General Coordination of Road Safety.
The accident occurred shortly before 2:00 p.m. and was attended to by police officers, traffic safety agents and a fire engine that arrived at the scene.
According to witnesses, the driver was speeding and lost control of the truck, which fell and ended up on its side in the area used for collecting rainwater.
The 1999 gold Chrysler Town Country pickup truck sustained significant damage and its occupants refused to be taken to a hospital.
