After publishing some promotional images on its social channels, the company Wizards of the Coast was accused of having used artificial intelligence for the creation of the aforementioned images.
At first, the company had denied these claims, stating that the images had been created by professional illustrators (and above all humans)but in the last few hours the cards on the table have changed again.
The post where it was declared that no artificial intelligence had been used to create the offending images was removed from social media and, subsequently, Wizards of the Coast confessed.

Stating that it had made “a mistake”, the company confirmed that it had used artificial intelligence for its promotional images. Several companies, including videogames, are considering the idea of using AI, but it seems that the primary intention is to test the waters to predict public reactions to this choice.
