The telecommunications division of CK Hutchinson (owner of WindTre) and Gameloft have entered into an agreement to launch a plan that provides for unlimited use of mobile video games for a monthly subscription. The service will first be available in two test markets, Italy and Austria. The deal covers eight potential markets in which CK Hutchinson operates, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Macau. Gameloft will offer a large selection of titles, including Asphalt Nitro 2, Lego Legacy, Powerpuff Girls And Sonic Runners Adventure. It looks like the catalog will already have hundreds of titles at launch, including a selection of free games for all. “With hundreds of games available at launch and more to be added every month, we believe our All You Can Play subscription will meet the needs of all of our gamer customers,” said CK CEO Joe Parler. The subscription price has not yet been revealed, but the company has announced it will be “very low”.
