Will Visions of Mana come to Xbox Game Pass?

A few weeks ago we had a new Xbox Developer Direct event, in which previews of several games that were coming to Xbox platforms were shown. Microsoft throughout the year, and within the advertisements it drew attention that square enix had its own space. Specifically, it was shown Visions of Mana, game that marks the return of the franchise after not having something totally new for so long, because although it has had a presence, only collections and remasters have been released.

With this new trailer for the game there were misinterpretations involved, as fans thought that by showing it at a brand event it would also have confirmed the incorporation into Game Pass, something that is far from being real, since at no time was anything similar said. Then the company itself has expressed that the RPG video game will not reach the service, at least not on day one and perhaps for a long time to come.

We're aware that Xbox.com included language indicating Visions of Mana was coming to Xbox Game Pass and we can confirm that was an error.

While we're always updating the library and looking for new ways to provide members with value and choice, we have no plans to bring Visions of Mana to Game Pass at this time.

Something that should be clear is that square enix It is not a company that really does not bet on Game Pass for new titles, so although they have put some games like Final Fantasy on the service, these have already been released for a long time in a format that people can buy individually. The return of the franchise Manna It means a lot, so selling the game at full price is something they will hold steady.

Remember that Visions of Mana will arrive in summer 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.

Editor's note: It was evident that it was not going to come out, nothing from Square Enix arrives on Game Pass on day one and this was not going to be the difference. If even brands that are very friendly to Xbox like SEGA did not launch Like a Dragon, it was obvious that it is not going to arrive, especially when the saga hasn't been with something new for so long.
