Wholesome Direct is a digital event that aims to highlight indie games that are united by the fact of being positive, welcoming, relaxing and suitable for the whole family. The event is organized by Wholesome Games, a community born in 2019 when independent developer Matthew Taylor began selecting games capable of transmitting positivity and joy. Since then, the collective’s initiatives have been increasingly followed by video game enthusiasts looking for experiences capable of transmitting joy and relaxation.
When and how to watch it
Wholesome Direct 2024 is part of the Summer Game Fest calendar and will take place on June 8, 2024 at 6:00 pm Italian time. The event will be broadcast in the original language on the official Wholesome Games channels, but will also be commented and translated into Italian by the Multiplayer.it editorial team on our Twitch channel.
What to expect
At the moment there are not many clues about the list of games that will be presented at Wholesome Direct 2024, but the organizers have anticipated that Over 70 games will be shown, through trailers and interventions by the developers. For this reason it is reasonable to expect an event with a duration similar to, if not longer than, that of last year’s edition, which lasted around two hours.
