Another factor that also usually influences when choosing skimmed milk is calories. Whole milk usually contains more, so it is thought that it is also more fattening. Those who want to take care of their shape usually pay close attention to this number, but doing so can be counterproductive: “The fat in dairy products has a satiating effect that we lose with skimmed milk.” This can cause us to eat more by not feeling so full.
