Jairo Leyva He has a degree in Tourism Administration, he has been an English teacher in primary schools and an administrator at the UAIM. He has been a councilor of the El Fuerte City Council in the period 2021-2024. He assures that he wants to be municipal president “to fully and responsibly cover the basic service needs that all working citizens occupies in order to peacefully provide sustenance for our families.”

Gildardo Leyva He believes that more than 2 years in the mayor’s office have given him the experience to continue doing good work for the municipality. The Morenista has a degree in Education so teaching in primary, secondary and high school appears in his work experience.
In October 2018, he assumed the position of Deputy of the LXIII Legislature for Local Electoral District I, corresponding to the municipalities of Choix and El Fuerte. In October 2021 he assumed the position of municipal president of El Fuerte.

Edgar Estrella He has a business profile and based on this he considers that he has an ideal profile to be municipal president, “I am a planner by profession and I have an electromechanical engineering background. As an engineer I am calculating and quantitative, and as a planner I am qualitative and a designer”, expressed in an interview with EL DEBATE. He mentions that on the public issue, he is passionate about being able to contribute his qualities, abilities, knowledge and experiences to contribute a spoonful of sand to improve the social environment.

– Guarantee a healthy life and promote the well-being of the people, managing an ambulance and a pharmacy for each municipality of the municipality, where the medicine is sold at the supplier’s costs.
– Create a municipal system of school transportation scholarships for the benefits of low-income students who carry out professional studies outside of El Fuerte, after a socioeconomic study.
Abel Sarmiento He has an academic training focused on journalism courses, creative writing, research, among others.
