This super cool Lambo has unfortunately been exported, but you now have the chance to bring it back to the Netherlands.
A twelve-cylinder and a manual gearbox, for the true petrolhead that is of course the ultimate combination. Unfortunately, it is a combination that is as good as extinct. That is not due to the V12, because it is still being built to your heart's content Ferrari and Lamborghini. It is the manual gearbox that had to be phased out by these brands years ago.
That only makes the Italian thoroughbreds that still have a manual gearbox even more desirable. We recently reviewed several manual Ferraris, but this time we have a manual Lambo for you.
It concerns a Murciélago, the last V12 Lambo in which you were still allowed to switch gears yourself. Although the Murciélago LP640 and even the Murciélago SV were still supplied with a manual gearbox, they are virtually impossible to find. This is therefore a 'original Murciélago' from 2004.
In its original capacity, the Murciélago has a 6.2 liter V12 that produces 580 hp. This block is actually a lot older than the Murciélago. The basis of this engine can be traced back to the very first Lamborghini from the 1960s, the 350 GT. The block was then 3.5 liters in size, and it has grown over the years.
This copy is extremely modest by Lamborghini standards, in black with a ditto interior. The only subtle color accent is the red stitching in the interior. But the highlight is of course the beautiful lever with the open shift pattern.
As you may have already realized, this manual Murciélago is not located in the Netherlands. It is offered in Monaco. Yet we see invoices in genuine Dutch in the maintenance history. What seems? This car still had a Dutch license plate until July last year.
They already have enough supercars in Monaco, so it would be great if someone brought this car back to the Netherlands. You now have the chance to do that, because it is being auctioned off Collecting Cars! You can bid until Thursday 7:36 PM.
Collecting Cars is an international auction platform that is also active in the Netherlands. Auction your car at no cost and without hassle via Collecting Cars!
