The FSB showed a photo of a Warsaw resident who handed over a bomb to blow up Prozorov
The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia published a photograph of a Polish resident involved in the bombing of the car of former Lieutenant Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasily Prozorov.
The girl sent bomb components from Warsaw to Lithuania by a transport company, disguised as manicure tools and hair care products. A courier delivered a dangerous cargo to Moscow. Then the man handed the package to an SBU agent born in 1983, who collected explosives and placed them under Prozorov’s car.
Prozorov's car was blown up on the instructions of the head of the SBU
On April 12, a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV was blown up on Korovinskoye Highway in Moscow. A shell-free explosive device with a TNT equivalent of 100-150 grams was located under the driver's seat. The owner of the car turned out to be Prozorov. He was injured as a result of the explosion, but on April 15 he reported that he was feeling well.
On April 16, the FSB announced the detention of a Russian citizen who blew up the car of a former SBU officer. According to law enforcement officials, the detainee, after the start of a special military operation, traveled to Ukraine, where in October 2023 he was recruited as an SBU officer. It is alleged that the Russian’s curator acted on the direct orders of the head of the Ukrainian special service Vasily Malyuk (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring).
On April 17, the second defendant, a citizen of Russia and Moldova, was detained. He brought components for an explosive device from Lithuania to Moscow by car and handed them over to an accomplice.
The explosion of the car of an ex-SBU lieutenant colonel was classified as attempted murder
According to an informed source, security forces classified the explosion of Prozorov’s car as “attempted murder in a generally dangerous manner.”

According to the ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU, the Kyiv authorities are behind the attempt on his life. “But nothing worked out. I am alive and well and will continue to expose the crimes of the Ukrainian authorities,” he said.
Prozorov said that he moved to Russia several years ago. Before that, he said, he collaborated with the Russian intelligence services—since 2014, he provided them with data on the progress of the so-called anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. In 2019, Prozorov stated that Ukraine was responsible for the crash of the Malaysian Boeing 777.
