Meta is constantly working to improve the experience of WhatsApp. While some of the changes implemented are well received, others are not liked by the public. Now, A new beta test has revealed that the app's next update may not be to the liking of many users.
According to WABetaInfo, a new update for WhatsApp is already being tested, which would be focused on adding new viewing options for users, leaving “online” in the past. The media has indicated that two new systems will be implemented, called “recently online” and “Start chatting.”
The first of these, “recent online”, appears when you enter the calls section and view the contact list, and shows us a small list of contacts who have recently used the app, although it is expected that this will not interfere with the “online” function. In this way, the new integration updates the information that some users may have about others.
For its part, “Start chatting” will appear in the chat list to show the contacts recently added to the calendar. Thus, It will finally be possible to start messaging with a completely new contact for your calendar. Let's remember that, even now, you need to manually search for the new contact, something that can be tedious for more than one person.
Now, considering that this update barely made it to beta, It will likely be some time before these improvements are available to the general public. On related topics, these are the new WhatsApp conditions. Likewise, filters have finally arrived in the application.
Author's Note:
It will be interesting to see how the public reacts to an update that will undoubtedly be controversial for more than one person. At least until Meta breaks WhatsApp we won't have any serious problems.
